New Engineering, Sales Support Positions to Improve Service Quality

EATEL Business Expands Staff in Baton Rouge With Five New Hires

Baton Rouge, LA – February 6, 2017– Today, EATEL Business—a provider of data management, business telecom, and IT services—announces the hiring of five new positions in its Baton Rouge-based office.

The positions will help EATEL Business improve the quality of service by creating new support, engineering, and customer-facing positions. Among the new hires is Channel Account Manager Tommy Milazzo, who will grow the partner and channel program for EATEL Business data center, backup and recovery, and cloud solutions.

Milazzo has worked with top-100 telecommunication companies both in wireless and wireline sales. He has more than 20 years of consulting and sales experience, and worked at AT&T/Bellsouth since 2001, prior to joining EATEL.

Romi Jenks, EATEL’s new Government Accounts Manager, will handle accounts specifically for state and federal agencies. Jenks brings more than 20 years of sales and customer management experience, and previously worked at AT&T and Cox Communications.

EATEL Business has also filled three other new positions, including:

  • Telecom Sales Engineer Wendy Severin will help clients establish and maintain custom solutions related to EATEL telecom products. Prior to joining EATEL Business, Severin worked at AT&T since 2005, and was a systems engineer for the United States Navy in her previous job.
  • IP Network Engineer Shannon Howard will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, while working closely with salesHoward has worked in the industry since 2001, including a tenure at Cox that lasted more than eight years.
  • Inside Sales/Account Manager Micheal Stevens will sell and support the entire EATEL Business portfolio. Stevens worked at AT&T previously.
